The famous Mali's Nasi Lemak.

Located in front of a block of shophouses in Taman Bunga Raya Setapak, Mali’s Corner is visited by many Tuanku Abdul Rahman (TAR) College students every night.
Their well-known Nasi Lemak Panas (Hot Nasi Lemak) attracted a lot of customers from around Wangsa Maju, Ulu Kelang, Setapak and Gombak. It is a shame if you are staying within this area but never knew about Mali’s Corner.
The outlet is simple, nice and ordinary so,it fits the hawker food that it serves. Practicing the self-service concept, walk up to the counter and order.

Uptown, Danau Kota.

Uptown, Danau Kota . (midnight bazaar)

Malaysia’s night markets and bazaar are undoubtedly attraction. These night markets and bazaar are stocked with clothes, trinkets, fresh producegoods, souvenirs and food.
These are the right places to make some cheap and exciting purchases. Many of these night markets and bazaar stay open till midnight. Thus, bargaining is a must on any items that one may want to buy.

Bazaria Larut Malam, Uptown Danau Kota.
The night bazaars or Bazaria Larut Malam is a new phenomenon in Kuala Lumpur. This concept of open-air shopping started in Damansara Uptown and has now spread to Kuala Lumpur as well as other areas of the Klang Valley.

At the moment, there is a big one in Taman Danau Kota, off Jalan Genting Kelang. This bazaar opens from 9pm to 4am daily except Thursdays. Danau Kota Uptown. This is the usual late night bazaar that operates nightly here in Kuala Lumpur. But the crowd here is quite large especially in the weekends. Quite popular night bazaar.
Locals were noticing that we were taking some pictures for the blog  :)
A few men were singing on a stage in front of the crowd.
T-shirt Branded Sale at RM10.00
You can see the t-shirts are at RM10.00  :)
Back to history, Danau kota was actually created for ex-drug addicts that came out from rehabilitation center. the reasons why our government created this place 7 years ago is to give chances to them(ex drug addicts ) to build a career or create a new life after they came out from rehabilitation center. as we all know chances for ex-drug addicts to get a job is so limited. So the government gave them chance to them and here is the place for them to get a job or to start a business. In rehabilitation center they were thought to make hand crafted souvenir, sewing and making electronic stuff and these stuff are send to this place for them to sell it to public. After few years years, this place is no longer reserved for the ex-drug addicts but also opened for everyone to trade their stuff such as toys, accessories, clothes, 2nd hand stuff, foods.

The difference between a night market (pasar malam) and a night bazaar (bazaria larut malam) is that the latter sells mostly clothes, accessories, car parts, electronic gadgets, and other non-agricultural produce. The operation hours are usually from 8:30pm to 3am the next day. If you are planning to reduce your budget on your shopping, to get same good looking items, to voice out your singing talent or to treat your appetites ,Danau Kota is definitely the right place for you to visit.
